Cast Iron Winery

Cast Iron Winery opened in November 2017. It has a small tasting room, built by hand. In 2019, owners Sean and Chelsea Humes planted their first clippings of 160 Black Spanish vines. The winery offers plenty of room to enjoy a glass of wine outside amidst the Texas countryside. Each Spring, guests have a beautiful view of wildflowers.

The Courtyard Wine Bar

The Courtyard Wine Bar is located inside the Live Oak Art Center. It boasts an extensive menu wine and craft beer from around the globe. The menu offers a delicious selection of gourmet small plates. Live musical entertainment is a staple at The Courtyard Wine Bar.

Pipers Creek Vineyard

Pipers Creek Vineyard is one of the few vineyards in Texas growing the French Villard Blanc grape. It hosts a tasting room and open air barn for private events. Located right outside of the Columbus city limits, Pipers Creek is gem of a winery in the Texas countryside.

Visit: Friday – Sunday, open to the public. Monday – Thursday, by appointment only.

Whistling Duck Vineyards & Winery

Whistling Duck Vineyards & Winery’s mission is to produce the highest quality, handcrafted Texas wines to be enjoyed at their “Uniquely Texas” facility. The winery provides a place where friends can drop by to enjoy the tranquility of the countryside and create memorable experiences. Whistling Duck is a short 15 minute drive from Columbus and well worth the trip!
