Magnolia Days Festival

Join the Columbus Chamber of Commerce the third weekend in May (Friday and Saturday) for the annual Magnolia Days Festival! It’s big time fun in small town Texas!

Held on the historic Courthouse Square, the Magnolia Days Festival is fun for the whole family. Admission to Magnolia Days Festival is free and parking is plentiful.

While you’re here, step back in history and take a self-guided walking tour or guided shuttle tour to view many of Columbus’ most historic buildings. Take your photo with the Magnolia Belles on the Courthouse Square. Shop ‘til you drop in the Vendor Marketplace. Sample tasty food and beverages, ranging from sweet to savory. Enjoy a frosty brew or delicious glass of wine in our Biergarten. Bring the kids and make lasting memories in our Family Fun Zone. There’s a little something for everyone to enjoy!

Columbus Country Market

The Columbus Country Market is held on the Colorado County Courthouse Square in Downtown Columbus (400 Spring Street) on the last Saturday of each month from March through November. The Market opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 12:00 p.m.

The goal of Columbus Country Market is to provide a marketplace for area farmers, crafters, and artisans to sell locally-produced food items, handcrafts, and fresh fruit and vegetables. Additionally, the market features educational activities and entertainment for all ages to enjoy.

There is no admission fee to the Columbus Country Market and all are welcome to stop by the Courthouse Square to support Columbus-area farmers, crafters, and artisans.

Friday Night Live

Join friends and family and visit Columbus during Friday Night Live! Friday Night Live takes place from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on the fourth Friday of each month (June through October). Visit the Downtown area as well as other areas around town to enjoy great shopping, dining, live music, and art exhibits. Visit the five murals showcased around town for fun photo ops, walk the historic district to learn more about the history of Columbus, and so much more!
