Big Easy Ranch is hiring a Full-time Hunt Shop Associate to work in our retail and communication hub inside the Lodge. A smiling friendly face is needed to greet guests when they arrive, check them out when they leave, make reservations, sell merchandise and answer all incoming calls to the Ranch and transfer accordingly.
• 2+ years of providing excellent service in retail stores or hospitality is preferred.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screenings are required.
• Dependable and eager to be productive each day.
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
What You will Do
• Provide prompt, courteous service to our members/guests when they arrive to check in for an activity or for their lodging.
• Book member activities in Google Calendar and in Club Essentials (training provided).
• Uses Point of Sale system to ring in retail items, activities, and hunts.

• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Essential Functions of the Position
• Checks in overnight guests and shows them to their rooms.
• Checks out guests at the end of their stay and provides a statement to them.
• Responsible for answering the phones and taking care of the caller or transferring the call to the appropriate party to do so.
• Take deposits and attach them to a guest folio for scheduled guest events.
• Conduct quarterly inventory counts of all Hunt Shop retail items.
• Work in conjunction with other departments and employees on the ranch.
• Run opening and closing shift reports.
• Interacting productively and cordially with co-workers.
• Able to understand and follow posted work rules, procedures and all safety rules.
• Receive constructive feedback in a professional manner.
• Keenly follows written and verbal instructions to complete job assignments easily.
• Perform any other job-related duties assigned by a manager.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the ranch due to hunting seasons or event demands.

Beyond The Paycheck
We pay a competitive hourly wage, especially if you have experience. Our starting pay is $16 per hour. In addition to the base pay, Big Easy Ranch also offers the full-time employees vacation days, sick days and healthcare benefits. One lunch meal is provided per day for all employees.
