The Opportunity
Insurance Sales – Business to Business

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Market solutions to small and mid-size corporations with focus on developing relationships with businesses and business owners
  • Research and develop new business opportunities by seeking out clients in the surrounding area employer market
  • Call on prospective customers to obtain their business
  • Provide employers with presentations that effectively communicate the Family Heritage ability to enhance employers’ benefit options
  • Maintain relationships with employers and clients that includes service needs and further sales

Job Knowledge and Skills

  • High level of proper business ethics, vibrant personality, a drive to help others, organized, self-starter, team player, and a professional presence
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with or willingness to develop skills around effective cold calling, networking, and business development
  • Ability to develop the right messages and provide the right deliverables for customers
  • Prior Business to Business and/or outside sales experience a plus, but not required.
